The Future of Work initiative arises from the ambition to prepare Lisbon for the future of work and to place the challenges of employment in a context of strong disruption and unpredictability at the forefront of the city's agenda for the coming years, focusing on the shared construction of a Strategic Map for the Future of Work in Lisbon.

This project seeks to reflect on the future of work in the city, investing in partnerships to make Lisbon more competitive, innovative, inclusive, and better prepared to deal with complex future challenges.

How and where will we work in the future? What skills should we acquire to be relevant and competitive? Will companies be prepared for the challenges of the future? Will people be aware of what the market is looking for, their potential, and the challenges that await them?

This is also a contribution to making Lisbon a resilient city in the face of rapid technological and social transformations, ensuring that its talent remains competitive while being able to attract and retain employment and new skills in line with future demands.
