The Bauhaus of the Seas starts in Lisboa to reimagine cities and think about the future.

The innovative approach of the project is the common renewed vision towards the sea, as a space for entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation to accelerate sustainable development in the oceans.

The leading partners are Lisboa City Council, Instituto Superior Técnico, Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian and Magellan Circle, involving a consortium of 18 international partners (municipalities, universities and cultural institutions). The project aims to set pilot projects in seven European cities, between 2023 and 2025: Oeiras, Venice, Genoa, Hamburg, Malmö and Rotterdam.
